Hi children, I hope you are all ok? I'm sorry I wasn't able to leave you any work each day for the last couple of weeks. Here is your learning for today. There are also 5 wild day challenges for the week from the WWF to give a try too if you'd like to. Also, check the other blog post for a virtual school games challenge too. :)
Unfortunately Mrs Griffiths is poorly at the moment and will not be posting work on the blog for a while. Instead, please continue to use the timetable format that she has been sending out and choose activities from the list below for your child each day. Mrs Baxter will be making your phone calls home and is looking forward to speaking to you soon. Please let us know if you have any queries. Take care. Well Done! Here is some more fantastic home learning. Olivia made some detailed flags to decorate the front of her house for VE day, she also made a bird feeder with her brother and watched the squirrels enjoy it too! Olivia has also done some fantastic writing. Ivy has made a creative little home for her tortoise out of play dough. Drew made a fantastic effort with the VE day challenges she did 75 hops all on one leg, 57 star jumps, made 7.5 funny faces with her brother and as a family went out for their daily exercise and walked/cycled 5.7km.
Here are some more photos of amazing home learning from Penguin Class. Drew made some brilliant Easter crafts and practiced her mashing skills to make banana bread. Izzy wrote her full name using beautiful handwriting. Connor has kept up his reading and gained his next certificate. Grayson read his tricky words and remembered them to write them. (Please check ILD as I have messaged everyone who has shared something to ask whether we can share on here too!) Today is a bank holiday so, instead of your usual home learning, here are some special VE day whole school challenges to try. Which ones can you give a go? Good luck! Enjoy the long weekend everyone. I miss you all :)
