Kingfisher Weekend Thoughts taken from 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse' by Charlie Mackesy3/5/2020 There is a new page on the school website with lots of lovely ideas about how to continue reading at home. This page will be updated regularly with new ideas that we come across so remember to keep popping back and having a look at what's new. You could always let us know what you are doing to keep reading at home and we might even use some of your ideas on there! It also includes a timetable of activities that are being offered by authors and illustrators each day.
https://ashtonvaleprimary.weebly.com/reading-at-home.html Morning Kingfisher, we hope you all enjoyed the virtual pyramid tour yesterday. It has been lovely to speak to so many of you, I will be making more calls this afternoon and tomorrow. Remember they may come from a private number and we ask that if children wish to speak with us that you put the call on loud speaker. Have a great day and enjoy today's quiz!
It has been lovely to read so many of your film reviews, we definitely have a lot of good films to look forward to watching. It's not too late to send you film review, just email it to Mrs Frampton. Along with the film reviews here is some more of the wonderful things that you have been getting up to at home. Aren't you a busy bunch!
We have some wonderful artists in Kingfisher Class and they have produced some wonderful sketches. Can you guess who sketched each of these? If you look on the captions it will tell you. It would be lovely to see some more of your sketches so we can add them to here.
It has been lovely to see what you have been getting up to during the Easter holidays. You have definitely been very busy! It's not too late to let us know what you did, you can comment below or email any photographs to Mrs Frampton to upload.
