Last day at Mill on the Brue and it was a muddy one. The badgers and otters were mostly together all day to do a race on the assault course (we got very muddy, some children had to get hosed down!) We then did colony games together where the children had to build shelters, a fire and we cooked hot chocolate and marshmallows over the the fire. They spilt into groups again to do the leap of faith and of course the zip wire! I’m pleased to say every child and of course every teacher did the zip wire. We came back together to do the ultimate egg drop where the children had to build a protective casing for a egg to drop off the balcony.
We are all very tired and looking forward to coming home tomorrow although we have had the best time! It’s been amazing to see the children’s teamwork skills shine this week! We will see you all tomorrow! Miss Andow & Miss Green

The otters have also had a fun filled day with spiders web where they had to try different ways off getting through the web without touching the ropes. Tried their skills at archery and took on blind fury where they were blindfolded and had to guess the objects they were holding.
More pictures on Twitter. We have arrived safely and have got stuck right in! Badgers group started our day with challenge track where they had to put their problem solving skills to the test. Next low rope, a series of elements that had to help each other over with an added challenge of making it around the track with a cup of water. Night line took our sight sense away where the children were blindfolded and they had to use their communication skills to navigate a course. We finished our day with a talent show!
