Lots of you have already signed up to view your child's learning diary online through Interactive Learning Diary. I hope you are enjoying sharing your child's diary with them. For those of you who have not already signed up here's a reminder about Learning Diaries at Ashton Vale this year. In Reception every child has a Learning Diary that shows each child’s learning journey through out the year. This year we are using a programme called Interactive Learning Diary to do this, which allows parents to log on to a safe portal on the internet to share their child’s diary. We will no longer have scrap books like we did in the past. This is a fantastic way to share information between home and school and allows busy parents to have a look whenever it suits them. There is an option called ‘My Voice’ which allows you or your child to make comments about pictures and observations (just like our Wow notes do)! In order to do this we need your details (Name, child’s name and email address). If you haven’t done so already please sign up on the sheet on Rainbow table as soon as possible. Once you have had a change to explore the portal for yourselves we will have an open afternoon where you can ask any questions and we can look at the key tools of the diaries. In the meantime please pop in and ask us anything that you might need to know. I hope that you find this to be an exciting way to see exactly what your child has been doing through observations, photographs and videos. We would love to know what you think about this so please share your thoughts on here or with us in person!
