Watch our Dino dance.
First a wide variety of dinosaurs are eating in various ways, then they move aroundin their various ways we've got some pterodactyls, brontosaurus, velociraptors and more! Then they spot a cave and squeeze through the small gap. There are lots of rocks to climb over when they get inside the cave and after climbing over them they spot an intriguing nest and peer in...
This is a short clip but see if you can spot the paleontologists in the role play area, the children ordering dinosaurs by size on the horseshoe table, the dinosaur nest being looked after, children writing 'be careful' and 'fragile' signs and sticking them to the big piece of cardboard for our nest, children making imprints of dinosaur body parts in the clay ready to add plaster of paris to tomorrow and out of sight children are excavating chocolate chips from cookies to see what a delicate job excavating fossils must be.
Penguin class are on the look out for any Barbie and Ken- type dolls that you can dress up. If anyone has any unused that they would be willing to donate that would be fantastic, I know some Penguin children who would be extremely grateful!
Thank you :)
Keep practicing your red words at home these are really important to help children to read fluently and increase their confidence with reading. They can't be sounded out so they just need to be remembered by sight.
Some children in our class know all of Pikachu and have moved on to Chazamander, well done!
