Wow! What a week! 24 very happy children who have achieved more than they thought they could. I'm sure you can tell from these pictures how much fun they have had this week. All very excited to tell you all about it!!
Hello! Children are having an amazing time. There are some very brave children here- putting their all into everything they do! We have lots of other pictures that we haven't been able to put on the website yet but they will be at some point! :)
Children have had a brilliant full day today! They've been climbing, problem solving, assault courses and crate staking! They are all really enjoying themselves and are very worn out. Lots of very tired children today!
Having problems with the wifi so can't upload any pictures at the moment. Will try again tomorrow :)
Having problems with creating new blog posts so going to have to add to these for now!
All having a brilliant first day. Everyone is very tired and ready for a busy day tomorrow!
The children have had a great science week; learning about the human body. At the beginning of the week they learned about the digestive system from visitors who brought along their science dome. They have also found out about the function of the brain and made their own paper brain caps. At the end of the week Mrs Hayes came in to run a workshop where the children found out about the heart.
Prior to science week we also had a visit from the RSPB who took the children on a bird spotting and wildlife search.
It has been a busy term and now the children are off on camp for the week. I know they will have a great time and look forward to hearing their stories at the beginning of next term.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the popular author, Steve Voake and were inspired to write stories and poems. You might want to come along to family assembly on Friday to hear all about it.
I hope you have all had a great holiday?
I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow and hearing all about your summer.
From Mrs Wigginton
