It has been a very exciting week in Robin Class. On Monday we took an imaginary trip to the Arctic, flying on an aeroplane, visiting Mala's house and seeing (and pretending to be) lots of animals. On Tuesday and Wednesday we wrote letters home to our parents about our time in the Arctic. Then on Thursday we walked to Sid's shop to go and buy stamps for our letters, which we then posted. Sid also helped us learn about money and talked to us about what he sells in his shop. Back at school we then made maps of the local area using pictures we took on our walk. Well done Robins for a fantastic week!
Here are some fantastic photos:
Robins have come back to school refreshed and ready to get on with learning lots of new and exciting things. This week we have been counting on and back in ones and tens in maths. In Geography and Literacy we have been learning about a boy called Mala who lives in the Artic. Here is a picture of Mala.
