This afternoon we have been writing direct speech. We have been looking at where we need to put inverted commas and when to start a new line.
We re-wrote a text message conversation using direct speech then performed them using our best voices to the class!
Today we have become surgeons! We have been operating on words such as would not and turning it into wouldn't.
We have had to operate on our word to remove the letter that is no longer needed and stitch the word back up using our sellotape and apostrophe!
This term our focus on P.E is balancing. We put this into practice today during our P.E lesson. We had to travel across the cage without touching the floor using equipment. We had to use team work to successfully get across!
After speaking to parents and children yesterday I have collected up some links to different websites offering games and revision tools to help you all at home if you would like to do any extra revision at home.

Today we have been lucky enough to have Mark Friend visit us. He did a whole day workshop with us producing fan boats.
We designed, made a prototype, manufactured, tested and evaluated them! You can see the different parts of the process in the pictures below.

This afternoon we have been working really hard on producing a PowerPoint presentation based on different dinosaurs. First, we did our research on the dinosaur and then produced a PowerPoint using that information.

This morning we had a fossil excavation as we had become paleontologists with Mrs Baxter using sand boxes and fossils! We had a great time searching for the fossils and investigating what they may be fossils of.

This term we have been lucky enough to have a badminton coach come in to teach us some badminton skills. We have learnt lots of different techniques.
We are all improving each week and becoming much more confident at serving and the new shots we have been practicing.

We had a very investigative afternoon today when looking at electricity. We were creating different circuits using different components and drawing them using the scientific symbols.
